Braden Williams
Co-Founder
A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Braden has honed his operations skills while working in every line-level position including three of Union Square Hospitality Group’s restaurants: Marta, North End Grill, and Maialino. Braden has worked with several growing fast-casual restaurant groups to develop their data practices including Souvla in San Francisco to develop a sales analysis process and Major Food Group’s Parm to develop tools that correlate food purchases to forecasted demand.
Braden brings a data and technology-focused lens to his work at MISEbox, ensuring that restaurants can use the data they already have to enhance the experiences they create.

Dana Koteen
Co-Founder
During a career that spans twenty years, Dana has worked with more than 40 diverse brands including TGI Fridays, Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Great Wolf Resorts, and Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG). His operations experience includes every role from busboy to Service Director, and he was eventually tapped as the first-ever HR Business Partner at USHG’s Union Square Events where he managed the Human Resource function for thousands of employees.
In 2014, he developed Restaurant Reason to solve some of the most common challenges we face in operating restaurants — the root of which is often lack of strong staff education and training. In 2018, he partnered with Braden to use all that he learned to bring the hospitality business the tool it really needs: MISEbox.
