MISEbox Early January Update
PDF creation in MISEbox is getting a big upgrade! Based on feedback and suggestions from some super-users, we’ve increased the amount of control you you have over the PDFs you create.
You can now:
Have control over whether a given section or item will appear
Include draft and hidden sections or items
Include related tagged content in a packet
Add all of the images associated with an item
Have more control of what appears with note-taker lines
Have control over what levels are included for each item
Get a live preview of exactly what the PDF will look like
PDFs are the best way to integrate MISEbox into the experiential learning that happens on a daily basis in your restaurants. We suggest using them for offline studying, pre-shift, food and beverage tasting notes, and more.
We’ve also begun to improve the design of MISEbox, you’ll notice it in pages with more varied widths on wider screens that allow you to manage more of your content more effectively at once.
If you are an employee of multiple restaurants you’ll now have a much better experience if you visit a link to a piece of content (Item, Module, Announcement, Manager Log) that isn’t available on the restaurant site you’re currently logged into. You’ll now see a page providing you with restaurants where this piece of content is available, allowing you to more seamlessly transition between restaurants.
This update also includes a number of bug fixes that improve the experience you have while using MISEbox:
Added ability for a manager to edit an employee’s email address
Improved performance across MISEbox
Improved the appearance of Content Tags on Modules
Fixed bugs relating to the Image and File uploaders on a mobile device
Fixed a bug where a shared item may not be added to a section
